Waterski & Wakeboard Scotland is the governing body for all aspects of the sport in Scotland and has been established for over 40 years.

The group was first established as the Scottish Waterski Association in the 1960s and became a Ltd. Company with the opening of our National Training Site in Dunfermline in 1991. The trading name waterskiscotland was adopted in the late 1990s and changed again to its existing name, Waterski & Wakeboard Scotland in February 2013.

WWS is affiliated to the UK governing body British Waterski & Wakeboard and through this body to our European and World partners. We have a very strong working relationship with sportscotland and we receive funding from this organisation. We are currently working to implement our 2016-2020 WWS Strategic Plan, ‘Grass Roots to Gold’.
